Summary: This page and its children contains procedures and policies for the management of electronic resources.
We use Electronic Resource Management (ERM) to manage our e-resource subscriptions, as well as some locally created list of e-resources:
- manage subscriptions
- manage license information (signed agreement between MSU Libraries and vendors)
- this is done by linking the resource record to a license record
- provide sharing options (Interlibrary Loan)
- additional important information for accessibility (forthcoming)
Typical ERM components:
- resrouce record
- license record
- vendor contact info
- record coverage management (upload, update, remove, analysis)
On Sierra, ERM is done though their ERM module.
