Moving an order record to another instance

Summary:

This procedure outlines the steps required to transfer an order record from one FOLIO instance to another.

Prerequisites

• You must have appropriate permissions to edit order records.

• You need the HRID of the target instance.

Steps

1. Locate and open the order record that needs to be moved.

2. Click the Actions menu dropdown and select “Change instance connection”.

3. Enter the target instance HRID in the "Select instance" pop-up.

4. Select target instance HRID from the search results.

5. Click Confirm on the "Change title" popup window to finalize move.

6. Check target instance HRID to confirm that the order is now attached.
