Summary: A list of streamers used in Tech Services to route materials through correct cataloging and processing workflows.

Red | Reference | Reference review & priority cataloging | Catalog quickly. Use for mnss, ssqrf, ssal3, mnaf, & mnir. |
Orange | Priority | Priority cataloging | Catalog quickly. Use for br & bupop. |
Dark green | Blank | Protected collection | Use for mnpro (or mn as indicated by selector) |
Light green | Blank | Add | Title is an added volume to a set, or an add to an existing LoM or Law instance. |
Light blue, shelf-ready | Shelf-ready | Acquisitions shelf-ready processing | Use to make notes about the title. |
Goldenrod | SPC | SPC cataloging | Use for sublocation information. |
Golden | T Loc NR | T Loc for materials in non-Roman scripts | Use for language and date searched. |
White | Order # | Monograph receiving and cataloging | Use for order number and date searched. |
White | No order | T Locs | Use for titles being sent to T Locs that have no order record in FOLIO (i.e., LCCAP titles, etc.). Instance number is written on streamer. |
White | Serials acquisitions | Serials, cat seps, and analytics | Use for serial call number. |
White | Notify | RUSH cataloging | Use for patron information. |
White | Supplementary | Supplementary materials cataloging | Use for print and nonprint supplementary materials. Leave in item after cataloging. |
White | Use copy | DVD receiving and cataloging | Leave in DVD after cataloging. |
Blue | Performance rights | DVD receiving and cataloging | Use for performance rights info. Cataloger puts this info in record. |
Green | Needs repair | All receiving/cataloging | Acquisitions or Cataloging may use to flag item for conservation treatment. |
Light blue | Material laid-in | SPC cataloging | Use for laid-in materials that will be separated from the book |
Pink | Non-separated laid-in | SPC cataloging | Use for laid-in materials that remain in place in the book (typically cookbooks and zines) |
