Job Profile - Add Item Statistical Code - INN-Reach: NOMel-Exclude from MeLCat Contribution

Add item statistical code – Create file containing holdings UUID numbers. Holdings UUID File is first run through Data Export to create a mrk file, and then Data Import to finish inserting the statistical code. Profile adds NoMEL stat code to item records only. No changes to holdings, instances, or MARC. Use with Data Export profile for barcodes in 949$x. Job Profile matches incoming MARC 949$x barcode to FOLIO item barcode. 

Create File containing Holdings UUID #s

• Save the “CSV (Comma delimited) file.

DATA EXPORT

• In Data Export load or drag and drop the CSV file into the Date Export run file box.

• Select the Data Export Job Profile named, “CATMAN – export item record barcodes only."

• At popup box, select “Holdings” Click "run" the export UUID numbers.

• Click "run" the export UUID numbers.

• File will look like this:

Data Import Job Profile

• Save the mrk file on your desktop

• Compile the file into an mrc file (save the file in the same place you saved the mrk file)

• From FOLIO - Data Import

• Find the mrc file to drag and drop in Data Imports File box

• Select Job Profile, CATMAN18 – add NoMEL stat code to item record only

• Actions > Run

• Popup box reads, "Are you sure you want to run this job"

• Click to run.

• Check the Job Profile report for errors.
