Batch applying stat code to item records

Summary: Process for using Catman18 and Catman19 job profiles to add and remove a stat code to all items on a given instance.

Use instance HRID to export holdings UUIDs

• Copy instance HRID and paste into a .txt file. Save.

• ListsAPP → Derive list → Instance HRID → upload .txt file

• Export options:

  • Holdings permanent location

  • Holdings id (UUID)

Edit CSV file

• Remove header row

• Sort by loc and delete any non-MSUL holdings record UUIDs

• Save

Data Export

• Upload .csv file

• Choose “CATMAN - export item UUIDs only” job profile

Data Import

• Upload resulting .mrc file

• Run CATMAN18 to add stat code to all item records

• Run CATMAN19 when finished to remove stat code from all item records
