Essential personnel
Through April 30June 8, 2020, only the work of ordering and receiving will be considered essential as defined by the Governor’s Executive Order. Those doing this work may spend time in the building as needed. All other Tech Services staff are expected to work from home.
Phased re-entry and rotating shifts have begun as of May 2020 to keep backlogs to a minimum. After June 8, more shifts will be scheduled, but those able to work from home are still asked to continue to do so, per the university and Dean Salem.

Library resources cannot be removed from the building.
Scanning for cataloging purposes is not considered essential work at this time. This will be reconsidered at the end of Aprilbeing handled by Text Management when student work hours permit.
Quick visits to workspaces work spaces (to pick up personal items, drop off paperwork, etc.) are still acceptable.

For building entry:
Building entry is permitted from 8am to 10am5pm at the Red Cedar entrance.
Masks are required.
