Electronic Resources Management (ERM)

Summary: General information about ERM Resource Record

We use Electronic Resource Management (ERM) to manage our e-resource subscriptions, as well as some locally created list of e-resources:

• manage subscriptions
• manage license information (signed agreement between MSU Libraries and vendors)
  • this is done by linking the resource record to a license record
• provide sharing options (Interlibrary Loan)
• additional important information for accessibility (forthcoming)

Typical workflow:

• create new ERM resource record
• attach license record
• activate subscription tracking on Serials Solutions
