As of April 2020, only the work of ordering and receiving has been deemed as essential, and those doing this work may spend time in the building as needed. All other Tech Services staff are expected to work from home.

Library resources cannot be removed from the building. Scanning for cataloging purposes is not considered essential at this time.

Quick visits to workspaces (to pick up personal items, drop off paperwork, etc.) are still acceptable.

If you plan to visit, you can access the building from 8-9:30am and 1-1:30pm. You will need to complete a health screening form upon entry, per Ingham County Health Department requirements.

...

  • Only designated TS staff will have regular shifts in the building.

  • Those able to work from home are asked to continue, per the university and Dean Salem.

  • Designations will shift as circumstances dictate. Kay and TS Managers will coordinate.
