Reporting CONSER statistics
CONSER statistics are reported to the PCC in April and October by replying to a survey that the PCC distributes in March and September to the CONSER listserv. More information is available from thePCC. Statistics are collected using Create Lists in Sierra.
Policies
MSU Libraries is a CONSER participant, creating original catalog records and doing maintenance on existing records in the CONSER database of serial records within OCLC’s WorldCat.
Serial catalogers performing maintenance or creating new CONSER compliant records that count toward MSU Libraries' CONSER transactions should track their work in the SIerra ILS using the MARC 982 field according to the formula in this procedure.
