Cat date
The CAT DATE field in the fixed field of bibliographic records reflects either the date the title was cataloged, the date the cataloged bibliographic record entered the online catalog, or the date of migration of records from the NOTIS online catalog to the Innovative Interfaces Inc. online catalog. This date should remain constant. If the bibliographic record is overlaid, the original date should be retained in the record.
