Essential personnel
Through June 8, 2020, only the work of ordering and receiving will be considered essential as defined by the Governor’s Executive Order. Those doing this work may spend time in the building as needed. All other Tech Services staff are expected to work from home.
Some TS staff returned to work in May to keep backlogs to a minimum. After June 8, more shifts will be scheduled, but those able to work from home are asked to continue, per the university and Dean Salem.
Staff working from home will need this form on file with HR: https://worklife.msu.edu/sites/default/files/sites/default/files/content/Telecommuting%20Agreement-Updated%202016.pdf
